Adam J. Weiss, founder and Managing Partner of Weiss Law, is an accomplished real estate attorney with extensive expertise across all phases of real estate transactions. His diverse client base includes private equity funds, family offices, sponsors, investors, retailers, hotel operators, brokerages, owners, national developers, and institutional and private lenders, serving their needs in a wide array of commercial and residential transactions.
Mr. Weiss’s extensive practice skillfully integrates complex corporate elements into real estate deals, including entity formation, debt-equity structures, and joint venture agreements. Notable transactions he has handled include representing a private equity fund in a $101 million acquisition of a multifamily project in Texas, structuring a $100 million credit facility for a family office, and advising a lender in connection with a $78 million construction loan for a mixed-use project.
Before establishing Weiss Law, Mr. Weiss was a named partner at a leading law firm in Miami, where he spearheaded the expansion of the firm’s real estate practice group. He was also previously an attorney at Akerman LLP, a prestigious AmLaw 100 law firm. Recognized as a Top 10 Real Estate Attorney in Florida by ConnectCRE in 2022, Mr. Weiss has been involved in numerous high-profile projects and transactions across Florida and the United States.
Mr. Weiss earned a full-tuition scholarship to the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of the Dean’s List and the Law Review. While in law school, Mr. Weiss gained invaluable experience working with the General Counsel of a prominent Florida real estate developer. He completed his undergraduate studies at Yeshiva University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, where he was a member of the Dean’s List and the tennis and cross-country teams.
