Miles Dearden is Associate Counsel at Weiss Law, where he focuses on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, advising a diverse client base that includes national and regional developers, private equity sponsors, institutional investors, family offices, and closely held real estate companies in connection with multifamily, mixed‑use, retail, and industrial projects throughout Florida and other U.S. markets, with a particular emphasis on development‑oriented acquisitions.

Prior to joining Weiss Law, Mr. Dearden practiced at Shubin Law Group, P.A., where he represented developers and investors in a wide range of complex real estate matters, including large‑scale ground‑up developments, mixed‑use projects, condominium terminations, stabilized asset dispositions, and joint ventures. He also previously practiced at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, an Am Law 25 ranked international firm, as a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, advising institutional clients, developers, and investment platforms on complex, multi‑jurisdictional commercial real estate transactions.

Mr. Dearden earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School and his Bachelor of Science in Biology, summa cum laude, from the University of Miami. He is admitted to practice in the State of Florida.
